A novel airliner seat concept about to make its public debut could potentially achieve something remarkable in the economy cabin: it could make the dreaded middle seat a desirable choice. Molon Labe Seating's Side-Slip Seat is aimed at faster boarding and quicker turnarounds for time-sensitive short-haul flights, but the Colorado company is launching a variation on the concept with quite a different goal-to improve economy-class passenger comfort on long-haul flights.
