In what could be the next labor relations test for senior management, Air France announced plans to reduce its short-haul capacity in terms of available seat kilometers (ASKs) by 15% by the end of 2021 and to cut 465 jobs. The cuts will be made without forced departures, the company said, and are necessary in the face of growing competition from high-speed trains and LCCs.
