To address residents’ concerns about aircraft noise, theCity of Huntington Beach, CA, located in the arrival path ofLong Beach Airport, has hired the airport consulting firmLandrum & Brown to prepare a glide slope analysis of aircraftarrivals into LGB over their city.By unanimous vote, the Huntington Beach City Councilearlier this month authorized L&B to conduct the analysis aspart of a six-month $48,370 contract that will be funded outof the city manager’s office.
