NASA said Sept. 21 that it is in the process of conducting aerodynamic tests on a 15% scale model of its Quiet Supersonic Technology (QueSST) Preliminary Design aircraft. The tests are being conducted inside the 14-by-22 foot subsonic tunnel at NASA's Langley Research Center in Hampton, VA. The data collected from several weeks of testing will be used to predict how the vehicle will perform and fly in low-speed flight.
