International Standards Organization (ISO)Working Group 45 decided at an April 5 meeting in London to move forward with development of new dose/response curves for predicting community annoyance with aircraft and other transportation noise. The new curve for aircraft will show more than twice the percentage of a community highly annoyed at 65 dB DNL as the curve currently in use by the Federal Aviation Administration.
