Loganair has again been awarded the contract to operate the Orkney inter-isles air service for four years from April 1. It secures the Scottish carrier's future as operator of the world's shortest scheduled flight following a competitive tendering process. The new contract, awarded by Orkney Islands Council, permits the airline to continue providing Orkney's inter-isles air services, linking Kirkwall (IATA: KOI) with North Ronaldsay (NRL), Sanday (NDY), Stronsay (SOY), Eday (EOI), Westray (WRY) and Papa Westray (PPW).
