Total passenger traffic at the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) in Texas, USA, leapt 13.9% from 2017 to 2018, to nearly 14 million. A major expansion of the Barbara Jordan Terminal, now nearly completed, is poised to meet the challenge of handling so many passengers, but AUS has mapped out much more work through to 2037, as detailed in its 2040 Master Plan.
