After booking the seat for $189,1 was given the option of adding a piece of checked luggage for an extra $11. With a generous 32kg (701b) baggage allowance, compared to the normal 20kg (441b), and purchased only three days before departure, this price seemed reasonable. Next I was offered the option of an assigned seat.
