Preservation of Cuban aviation history is taking another step forward. At the excellent Museo Nacional del Aire in the suburbs of Havana [La Habana], mainly military aircraft are on display. Now in a prime location at the capital's international airport, Havana-Aeropuerto Internacional Jose Marti (IATA: HAV/ICAO: MUHA), a new 'Air Park' for airliners is in the process of establishment.rnAs you drive to HAV's Terminal 3, you cannot miss the sight of four preserved aircraft. They are in a walled and fenced compound to the west of the terminal and control tower, but from the access road, a short walk from the terminal, a Douglas DC-3, Ilyushin 11-18 and 11-62, and an Antonov An-24 can all be seen (and photographed with discretion).
