I always enjoy your fine magazine and look for any aircraft I have flown or airports I have landed at. In the October 2011 issue there was an article about a DC-3 that vanished on a flight from Hawthorne, Nevada, to Long Beach, California ('Flight 708-When the 'Gamblers' Special' Cashed in its Chips'). I recognized the N-number: N15570; I looked in my logbook and found I flew it on August 5, 1955, when I was with Southwest Airways. It brought back fond memories of that grand old airplane.
