My journey originated in Stockholm, 247mi (397km) from Helsinki, for the connecting flight to New York. There was no-one in line when I arrived before 0700 at Arlanda (ARN) and I went straight to the counter to check my bag through to JFK. The passenger service specialist, a third-party Menzies Aviation ground handling agent, was extremely helpful and pleasant in reviewing with me the available seats in business class on the HEL-JFK sector.
