摘要

Consolidation of aluminium and aluminium alloy powders by high temperature, isothermal extrusion are object of consideration in the paper. The laboratory stand, able to simulate the real process and to provide univocally controlled external parameters has been used. The experiments provide the set of basic data for high temperature, isothermal extrusion of powders, and bulk aluminium as well as information about main technological parameters. The creation of strong bonds between the neighbour particles due to their plastic deformation and displacement inside of container has been stated. This leads to strain hardening and substantial increase of force necessary to extrusion. Behaviour of powder materials at consolidation by hot extrusion is different comparing the bulk materials even at this same composition of materials.
