In recent years, a series of investments have taken place in Egypt to expand the aluminium industry. In a two-part report, the rolling mills and extrusion plants are described. Following the account of Egypt's rolling mills and their economic environment presented in an earlier issue of this journal, the present article describes the country's extrusion plants.
