In December 2015 Indalum S.A., an important aluminium extrusion producer located near Monterrey in Mexico, awarded a second major contract to Danieli Breda - this time for a complete extrusion plant equipped with a 3,100 US-ton front-loading press, capable of processing 9-inch billets into profiles of up to 500 x 250 mm. The extrusion line includes a log storage and log pusher, rapid heating furnace, log saw, billet loader, profile quenching unit, extrusion roller table and fly-cut system, stretcher, cut-to-length saw, aging furnace. The new press is scheduled to go on line by March next year. It will be Indalum's 11th extrusion press.
