The King Abdullah Sports City National Stadium is one of the largest sports infrastructure projects in the Near East. In the coastal city of Jeddah on the Red Sea, the second-largest city in Saudi Arabia, an exclusive sports complex has been created which consists of a football stadium for 60,000 spectators with large Royal Pavilions for the Saudi Royal Family, a sports hall that can accommodate more than 10,000 spectators, a track and field athletics stadium as well as other outdoor sports facilities, a mosque, and parking capacity for 45,000 vehicles.
