In December 2013, Ipsen USA shipped a large vertical vacuum aluminium brazing furnace to a major aerospace company, a long standing customer, for installation in Mexico. This is the customer's second vertical unit in operation. Two other vacuum furnaces are also to be shipped to South east Asia for the same aerospace company. Such orders, Ipsen says, reflect clear trends in the aerospace industry sector. According to Nasdaq, several new emerging markets, as well as developed nations, are boosting defence spending and generating business for international Aerospace and Defence companies, including in the USA.
