摘要

Gloomy quarterly figures and brightening estimates about the business climate mark the present tone of the economic news. However, the positive expectations are not necessarily based on orders which will be paid for in hard cash in due course. Rather, they are often founded on the principle of hope. These days there is also much talk about the crisis being an opportunity, although this is something one is already sick and tired of hearing, especially when it comes from politicians getting up on their soapboxes.
