Municipalities often put their facilities managers in tough situations with aging equipment and infrastructure. Some of this old machinery, pumps and equipment were put in place when little thought was given to how to fix them if they break or how to replace them when required. The city of Henderson, NV found a new tool to help with lifting heavy components to repair aging systems, the EzRig Crane. Now a neighboring township comes to borrow Henderson's EzRig Crane for similar purposes. The EzRig Crane is specifically designed to lift heavy loads from unique positions and hard-to-get-to locations. The EzRig moves around on durable 8-inch locking caster wheels and has lifting capabilities that can pull up or lower 2,400 pounds. It has a vertical reach height of 19 feet. The mini crane can go through standard 3-foot doors and into standard elevators coupled with the capacity of a lowering cable of 130 feet that make it easy for machinery or equipment that is stowed away down 3 to 4 stories.
