A team of nine Potain tower cranes are at the heart of a new pre-cast concrete fabrication yard in Autthaya, Thailand. Hicrete Products & Technology purchased the MC 205 B cranes to build the new facility and then serve its day-to-day operations. The 10-ton capacity MC 205 Bs arrived at the yard in January 2012. They are all mounted on rails and can travel up to 400 meters to ensure complete coverage of the yard. Once each section of the new yard is built, the cranes switch from construction to production operations where they are responsible for moving precast concrete elements and preparing new molds on a daily basis.
