The Latest: Following the announcement in August 2020 from the Mexican state of Oaxaca on the junk food ban for children, wenote of the potential of a spillover effect, with the state of Tabasco being the second state to approve the same law later in the samemonth. We note that numerous other Mexican states are now considering the law with a number of deputies having alreadysubmitted a proposal to ban the sale of junk food to children on a state-level.
