These systems require real-time, integrated programs. There are (Continued on page 21) (Continued from page 10) now third party products and organizations which provide what has been called Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) to provide the interface between applications A2A) and between sites (B2B) with little or no modifications (they claim) to the existing systems. I see terms like "standalone" and "turnkey. If the legacy system is ODBC capable, this may even be true.
