When in the chart screen view, notice the row of icons directly above the chart. Clicking the icon on the left will turn on/turn off the profile view below the chart screen. The Profile View provides very valuable information and is an excellent tool for flight planning. A sample profile from Dulles to Los Angeles is depicted below. Altitude isrndisplayed on the left side and the altitude of the proposed flight is represented by the black line.'
