Looking beyond the PRC-152A on the Harris stand, the company has developed a new tactical key loader under a $ 5.9 million US Navy special warfare contract. The Kik-11 is being designed to simplify loading classified key fill material into military radios and cryptographic equipment. The Kik-11 is a line replacement for the legacy Kyk-13, and runs the company's Sierra II Asic cryptographic module. Harris expects to deliver the first 50 units in early 2012 (winter/spring timeframe) for first-article tests, and is under an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract ($ 59.7 million) to deliver its first 1800 production units shortly after 'expected' NSA certification in early 2012.
