Radio Television of Afghanistan (RTA) plans to establish its own media training centre and, in preparation for this, has been studying the methods of training institutes and university media broadcasting organisations in Asia since 2017, with support from the ABU. To augment this training experience, the ABU arranged another study tour for two RTA colleagues, Mr Farhad Ahmad Noori, Deputy Manager, International News Studio, and Mr Mohammad Ismail Alizai, Director, Local News, in Delhi, India from 6 to 10 August 2018 in collaboration with the national public radio broadcaster, All India Radio.
