SINGAPORE: A draft Bill was released on July 10 which requires critical information infrastructure (CM) owners in Singapore to report security breaches, and cybersecurity vendors providing highly sensitive services to be licensed. The release of the Bill follows last October's announcement of a high-level cybersecurity strategy that includes strengthening global partnerships and directing more funds to plug security gaps in CM, such as those that run telecommunications, transport, healthcare, banking and energy services.
