摘要

Saab is one of the world's leading high-technology companies, with its main operations focusing on defence, aviation and space. ADJ's MG Mahmud was in Sweden recently to report on the products, systems and capabilities of the new Saab Group. In March 2000, Sweden's two largest high-technology companies merged when Saab acquired the similar-sized Celsius to form a new group focusing chiefly on defence and aerospace. After a year of reorganisation and rationalisation, a new Saab Group has taken shape, split into six business areas. Its current annual turnover is around US$1.8 billion.
