Stoll premiered a prototype of its new invention, CMS 530 HP-ADF, which is a high-performance, high-output intarsia flat knitting machine that offers users new possibilities for making intarsia patterns. The machine features newly developed yarn feed technology. It demonstrated the new possibilities for plating and both multigauge and intarsia knitting, such as smaller color fields and intarsia plating. The company's redesigned booth also made debut in Shanghai, with its trade show motto for 2012 being "Knitting Performance by Stoll". In the "Fashion Corner" of the new booth, visitors could see for themselves the wide diversity and quality of the new Stoll products and the new 2013 Stoll Collection. Called "Architectural Knits", the collection derives inspiration from the Orient, Asia, and Art Nouveau. Additional creative knits were also on display to illustrate the innovative capabilities of Stoll's high-tech flat knitting machines.
