Today, the world of textile finishing faces such challenges as increasing cost of water and effluent treatment as well as pressure to conserve resources. Thies, the German textile machinery manufacturer, puts emphasis on "Go Green" at ITMA ASIA + CITME 2012 in Shanghai. It exhibits the new rope dyeing machine, iMaster H_2O, which claimed to offer a significant reduction of water consumption, chemicals, dyestuffand energy. The iMaster H_2O features a new design of rope dyeing for the processing of knit and woven goods. By installing the transport winch inside the kier, cotton, synthetic fibres and their blends, it improved fabrics stability and surface appearance. Meanwhile, it can also offer an increased flexibility in the processing of a wide range of products.
