摘要

Globally, over the past two years, one third of all fashion companies have changed ownership, and this figure is estimated to climb to half by the end of the recovery. The supply chain has also faced a massive shake up with over 20,000 Chinese manufacturers going out of business. Meanwhile, major retailers have decided that they would rather lose sales than be stuck with too much inventory.rnSo with a consolidation of brands and a swing towards the remaining manufacturers, are we likely to see a very different post-GFC landscape, or can we expect more of the same? To find out, ATF spoke exclusively with Bob McKee, Lawson Software's fashion industry strategy director, an expert on the global supply chain, on his recent visit to Australia.
