We have developed a dynamic-type ice storage system by using super-cooled water, as shown in Figure 1 and Photo 1. In this system, ice slurries made from super-cooled water are supplied and stored in tanks at night. During the daytime the stored ice is melted to supply cold water for the air-conditioning system. It is known that ice slurries feature the following good characteristics: 1. High energy density; 2. High heat response; 3. High efficiency of energy transportation.
