Climate controlled indoor swimming pools are intended to provide enhanced comfort conditions at all times of the year for users of the facility. This particular type of facility presents an unusual array of internal loads to designers, which are characterised by very high latent and relatively low sensible conditions. The internal requirements for comfort are also challenging as occupant comfort is particularly sensitive to air movement, temperature, humidity and terminal velocity.
