Sometimes the best ideas are born out of necessity. In the early 1990's Chris Kabele was casting around for an inexpensive way to reach automotive recyclers to sell parts for his business, Kabele Truck and Auto Parts. "Direct mail is so expensive. We were looking for something else, and came up with the idea of a magazine," says Chris' wife, Laura. And so was born Recycler's Power Source. From a humble beginning as a slim, 16-page start-up publication in 1993, Recyclers Power Source has grown into a 48-page monthly packed with ads and industry-related articles that goes to a mailing list of 13,000 automotive recyclers.
