Hawaiian Airlines is about to undergo its first leadership change in more than a dozen years, but a well-planned transition means there are unlikely to be shifts in strategy or direction. CEO Mark Dunkerley is leaving Hawaiian in March after guiding the carrier through a long-term transformation. He will be replaced by current Chief Commercial Officer Peter Ingram, who has been in senior executive roles at Hawaiian since 2005. Ingram tells Aviation Week that his promotion signals "a continuity of approach" at the carrier.
