The U.S. Marine Corps is mulling concepts of operation and a spiral development road map intended to secure the F-35's place at the heart of its electronic warfare and electronic attack capability, targeting an early performance similar to that of the EA-6B Prowler.rnThe Marine Corps is aiming for a baseline capability in 2012, followed by a number of upgrades across various aircraft systems to fully exploit the low-observ-rnable platform's suitability for electronic attack.
