NASA's new leadership is in place and ready to execute the Obama administration's space plan-just as soon as they know what it is.rnCharles Bolden, sworn in July 17 as the U.S. space agency's 12th administrator, and Lori Garver, NASA's new No. 2, both say they are hopeful President Ba-rack Obama will give them a mission they can use to revitalize public interest in the space program. But as they wrap up a week of festivities marking the 40th anniversary of NASA's signature accomplishment-the Apollo 11 mission to the Moon-it is clear that Obama is taking a deliberate approach in deciding the way forward in space.
