Internationally and in the U.S., testing of delivery by drone is set to expand as regulators and industry work to understand the business models that make sense and the operating rules required to safely and securely enable them.In Switzerland, Swiss Post has expanded its medical delivery drone trials, beginning a pilot project transporting laboratory samples by air across the capital, Bern. This follows a project in Lugano that completed more than 1,000 flights without incident, according to the Swiss postal service.In Singapore, Airbus has teamed with maritime logistics company Wil-helmsen Ships Service to develop an unmanned ship-to-shore delivery system. This will build on Skyways, the drone service Airbus is testing with Singaporean mail service Singpost at the National University of Singapore (NUS).
