摘要

With fewer programs to power its business, what comes next for storied Canadian aerospace player Bombardier? Will more aircraft lines be sold off, will it try to grow the remaining business aviation and aerostructures units, or will it pursue some combination of growth and divestiture?Questions may linger for a while following Bombardier's Nov. 8 announcement that it will sell the Q400 regional turboprop program to Longview Aviation Capital, parent company of Canada's Viking Air, and its business aviation training activities to CAE, as well as cut 5,000 more jobs across the company (see page 18).
