摘要

Unlike its airline industry counterpart, business aviation has stayed relatively healthy through the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic. While airlines parked aircraft, furloughed employees and reeled back flight schedules to cope with a collapse in demand enforced by travel restrictions, business aviation saw increased flight activity, more first-time jet buyers and new converts to private charter and fractional flying. But that story, until recently, has been confined to periodic earnings calls, virtual conferences and small gatherings. In mid-October, business aviation realized its first opportunity to celebrate its recent success collectively at the National Business Aviation Association Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) in Las Vegas.
