In the aviation industry, accessing the right information in the right place, at the right time, is crucial to support decisions and enhance operations. Since 1964 Teledyne Controls has been an industry leader in creating comprehensive solutions for aircraft data acquisition and management, communications, data recording and wireless transfer, as well as airborne telephony, cabin information displays, electronic flight bags (EFBs) and flight data monitoring applications and services. Today Teledyne Controls' AvVantage~® Information Solutions (AIS) provide operators with an integrated information environment that connects systems on board an aircraft with those on the ground. By allowing flight crews to access their corporate information network and stay in the loop with servers, workstations, data links and benefit-driven applications, AIS encourages everyone to work together, whether they're in the office next door or the one 35,000 feet above.
