Good, but could do better concludes the latest study of the sustain-ability policies of 12 of the country's leading house builders. The survey, the second in an ongoing study, forms part of environmental group WWF's One Million Sustainable Homes campaign. The report was carried out in partnership between HBOS, asset manager Insight Investments and WWF-UK. Insight and theWWF say they are encouraged by the results. All 12 of the companies studied, representing 41 per cent of all homes completed last year, have shown a 'substantial' improvement. Their average score, it reveals, has increased from 47 per cent in 2004 to 68 per cent.
