摘要

Entering military service in 1916, the Pup was a British single-seat fighter biplane built by the Sopwith Aviation Company. Flown by the Royal Flying Corps and the Royal Naval Air Service, the Pup had excellent flight performance and was highly regarded by its pilots. During its production, more than 3,500 Pups were built by Sopwith and other aircraft manufacturers. Also a part of the Ultra-Micro Vintage Series, the Sopwith Pup is the perfect dogfighting partner for the Fokker D.Ⅶ. With a 13 3/4-inch span, it is slightly smaller than the D.VII but has the same pilot-friendly flight performance and stability.
