In celebration of Bacardi's 150th anniversary, the brand hosted several birthday parties, launched consumer promotions, offered retail travel exclusives and commemorative gifts, and introduced a $2,000 limited-edition Bacardi rum. Created by eight Bacardi family members and master blenders, the limited-edition Ron Bacardi de Maestros de Ron, Vintage MMXQ, is a blend of rums aged in oak barrels during the last 20 years and finished in 60-year-old Cognac barrels.
