Anheuser-Busch has celebrated the official opening of its new Commercial Strategy Office in New York City by re-enacting an historic 1933 delivery of Budweiserto Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul marking the end of Prohibition. The delivery was made by a full hitch of eight Budweiser Clydesdales, bringing Anheuser-Busch CEO Joao Castro Neves and a case of replica 1933 Budweiser bottles to the new premises on 24-th Street. Over 80 years ago, Anheuser-Busch made a similar delivery of Budweiser to former New York Governor Al Smith to celebrate the end of Prohibition.
