摘要

Changes in careers have led to increasing numbers of experienced learners in the workforce. Experienced adult learners clearly display attributes that are present to some extent in all adult learners: maturity, independence, self direction, a desire to contribute, and well developed individuality. The trainer must have a flexible and reflective educational style that is tailored to the individual learner. Relevant educational models emphasise partnership between learner and trainer.
