Edited volumes like The Management of Complex Projects: A Relationship Approach are a welcome addition to literature on the built environment. This book focuses on how:rnIt argues that how the human dimension - in and across the levels of analysis of technical work and management - ought to regain leadership positions in any pragmatic analysis of a project where not allrnagents are alike. Without doubt, analyses of the complex processes of co-evolution of the various human agents and their various ways of social interaction, as well as the various environments which they represent, will benefit from transdisciplinary approaches, such as the relationship approach adopted in the edited volume under review here.
