"The Changes Business Wants" (Cover Story, Nov. 17), about what the new Administration could do to help U.S. companies survive and thrive, elicited a lot of comment-and there was little middle ground. On one side: those who argued that it's business that needs to change, because it's business that created the nation's-and now the world's-financial crisis. On the other: those who complained that the taxes needed to support the fiscal stimulus, health-care, and other government initiatives advocated by President-elect Obama will only add to the burdens U.S. companies already carry in an increasingly competitive world.
