The national directors met at the Temple Garden Mineral Spa in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan on Saturday, February 8, 2003 for the Mid-Term Meeting hosted by the Saskatchewan Branch. Twenty―four directors attended representing all branches from Quebec west. Unfortunately, no directors from New Brunswick or Newfoundland and Labrador were able to participate. In conjunction with the meeting, a strategic planning workshop was held on February 7. On Friday evening, Board members toured The Tunnels of Moose Jaw: tunnels under Main Street used by early Chinese immigrants and by rum―runners during the Prohibition Era. Many thanks to Rob Wiebe and Esther Kienholz who made meeting, facility and tour arrangements. A Project WET Coordinators' meeting was held February 9 and 10; Board Members and Project WET Coordinators shared dinner on February 8. Thanks to Pauline Nystrom for organizing the Project WET meeting.
