Of course, the beautiful robin-blue-egg-and-yellow Queen Anne Victorian house built by artist Rufus Wiseman probably had something to do with it, too. Perhaps it was the fact that the historic Wiseman House, built in 1903, proved to be a perfect place for a young couple intent on hand-making chocolates in the back and selling them out front. The Wenzel's dream started not from a great business plan or marketing savvy, but from a desire to make fine chocolates for their friends and neighbors and the occasional passer-by.
