Chocolate manufacturers see sustainable cocoa beans, healthier choices and higher prices as emerging cocoa trends. In the future, even a plain chocolate bar won't be a plain chocolate bar. Rather, it will likely feature a label exclaiming that a third party certified it as sustainably grown; it will be about 70% cocoa, and it'll probably cost you more than whatever you're paying now. As the chocolate world changes, makers and consumers alike are looking at a future with increased sustainability efforts and different flavors, while keeping a watchful eye on prices.
