Testing Center. Shanghai Research Institute of Materials (SRIMTC), which is also Materials Testing Center for Machinery Industry, was founded on Dec. 1994, based on the relevant testing departments of Shanghai Research Institute of Materials (SRIM). The center has carried forward the experience and achievements on materials testing technology that SRIM gained over the past 60 years and achieved an increasingly good credit in the same profession home and abroad. In Dec. 1996, SRIMTC passed the metrological certification of the former State Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision; in Nov. 1999, it passed the accreditation of the Quality Test Organization by former State Bureau of Machinery Industry and in 2001, it passed the accreditation by China National Accreditation Board for Laboratories (CNAL). SRIMTC aims to provide clientswith fair, accurateand reliable technical services, and its management and quality assurance system follows ISO/IEC 17025:1999 strictly.
